"Daisy Meadows" è uno pseudonimo utilizzato da un gruppo di quattro autori che hanno collaborato per creare la popolare serie di libri per bambini Rainbow Magic. I singoli autori sono Narinder Dhami, Sue Bentley, Linda Chapman e Sue Mongredien, tutti e quattro hanno ottenuto successo nelle loro carriere di scrittori.
Narinder Dhami è nata a Wolverhampton, in Inghilterra, e ha conseguito una laurea in inglese presso l'Università di Birmingham nel 1980. Dopo alcuni anni di insegnamento in scuole primarie e secondarie, ha iniziato a scrivere a tempo pieno. Dhami ha pubblicato molte rivisitazioni di storie Disney popolari e ha scritto le serie Animal Stars e Babes. Attualmente vive a Cambridge, in Inghilterra, con suo marito e i suoi gatti.
Sue Bentley è nata a Northampton, in Inghilterra, e ha lavorato in una biblioteca dopo aver completato gli studi. Ha iniziato a scrivere per bambini una volta che i suoi figli hanno iniziato la scuola. Bentley è l'autrice delle serie Magic Kitten, Magic Puppy e S Club e vive nel Northamptonshire. Linda Chapman ha scritto più di 50 libri di fiction per bambini, tra cui le serie My Secret Unicorn, Stardust, Not Quite a Mermaid e Unicorn School. Attualmente vive nel Leicestershire con suo marito e le sue figlie.
Sue Mongredien è nata nel 1970 e è cresciuta a Nottingham, in Inghilterra. Ha pubblicato più di 100 libri per bambini, tra cui le serie Adventures of Captain Pugwash, The Magic Key, Frightful Families e Oliver Moon. Mongredien ha anche contribuito a molti titoli della serie Sleepover Club e ha scritto libri illustrati. Ha creato le Royal Ballet School Diaries con lo pseudonimo Alexandra Moss e attualmente vive con la sua famiglia a Bath, in Inghilterra.
La serie Rainbow Magic presenta diversi gruppi di fate come personaggi principali, tra cui le Jewel fairies, Weather fairies, Pet fairies, Petal fairies e Sporty fairies. La serie è diventata popolare tra i giovani lettori e l'illustratrice Georgie Ripper ha vinto il premio Macmillan per l'illustrazione per il suo lavoro nella serie.
