Frank Zafiro è un autore affermato, noto per la sua scrittura di fiction criminale dal taglio grintoso. Sin da bambino, Zafiro ha mostrato interesse per la scrittura, iniziando a prenderla seriamente all'età di tredici anni. Dopo il servizio militare, è diventato un agente di polizia a Spokane, Washington, nel 1993.
