Nicola Griffith è una autrice altamente plaudita, nota per il suo lavoro in generi thriller, fantasy e di fiction. Nata in Yorkshire, in Inghilterra, Griffith si trasferì in seguito negli Stati Uniti. Prima di scoprire la sua passione per la scrittura, insegnava difesa personale e sollevamento pesi sulle braccia alle donne.
