Regina Jeffers è una pluripremiata e autrice bestseller americana, nota principalmente per i suoi romanzi d'epoca della Reggenza inglese, le rivisitazioni e i sequel austeniani e i misteri storici cozy. Ha avuto una carriera variegata, rivestendo diversi ruoli come consulente per l'alfabetizzazione mediatica, figlia, redattore di progetti, studentessa, appassionata di storia, militare di stanza in diverse basi, regista teatrale, moglie, ballerina di Broadway, madre, coreografa, nonna, giornalista, insegnante e consulente fiscale.
