Susanna Daniel è una rinomata scrittrice nota per la sua narrazione evocativa e i personaggi riccamente delineati. Daniel è laureata alla Columbia University e all'Università dell'Iowa Writers’ Workshop, dove ha affinato la sua arte. È stata Carl Djerassi Fiction Fellow presso l'Università del Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing e ha co-fondato il Madison Writers’ Studio con l'autrice Michelle Wildgen.
